Alongside the illustration, discover the story behind it — its history, character, influences, and place in the local landscape.
One illustrated recipe
Each month includes one illustrated recipe inspired by the destination — something you can make at home and, perhaps, share with a loved one .Along the way, you’ll discover the ingredients, traditions, techniques, and stories that make the dish part of the place’s cultural fabric.
A bookmark, zine or little paper treasure
A small piece of ephemera to read, keep, collect, or pass along.
It might be a pocket-sized zine about a local tradition, a beautifully illustrated bookmark, a visual guide to a craft, a collection of local words, or a story about an object that has shaped everyday life.
